Easter Mini Sneak Peak

Oh my what better then to capture the fun with six chicks and the Cadbury bunny (in our case Snowflake). Last weekend, I hosted my first Easter Mini Session. Not sure what to expect, I went in knowing that if anything else, we were going to have fun and so we did. It was so much joy to see the children laugh and play with the animals that I almost felt the need to do so myself and so I did! All in all the day was perfect. The weather was great, the families were wonderful and most of the children had fun! So without holding out any further, a sneak peak from last weekend’s day of fun Easter Mini Sessions…Hope you enjoy!

Mathis Family fun

When our children are young, I feel it’s important to capture them at all the stages and ages. Whether it’s a birthday party, trip to the zoo, or even as a family fun photo day. It’s always so much fun for me to get a family together for a photo session because it stops a moment in time where a family can look back at that stage in their life and remember all the little things.

My love is to find the fun in a family and capture them as they truly are. In my session with the Mathis family, we took a stroll downtown and had fun playing, counting cars, and dancing in the alley…all the ways to have fun while capturing the love within a family!

What a wonderful weekend

I feel like I have so much to share, but so little time to do it (seeing how it’s already 12:30am). This weekend was packed full of wonderful things. I had an amazing time this weekend meeting new, expecting, and desired parents at the Lourdes Baby Fest Expo. I also had a fabulous meeting with a bride and groom, took more pictures then I know what to do with, and last, but certainly not least I spent some great quality time with my friends and family. It’s amazing how fast the weekend goes by when you are having such a wonderful time. I am truly blessed for all the support I have in my family, friends, clients, and all those who keep me uplifted. So, to end such a wonderful weekend, I wanted to share my expo booth with you all. It’s nothing special, but I had so much fun meeting so many great people, that I just had share it with you. (Please note how cool it was to get a pink table skirt to go with all my pink branding…thanks for the hook up Lourdes!)

There is so much more to come from this weekend, so make sure to stay tuned this week. Have a wonderful Monday morning!!

I heart faces “Bundled up”

If you don’t know what I Heart Faces is, you are SO missing out! Each week IHF holds a photo contest with a different theme each week. This week I am so excited for because we all know here in Virginia that we had plenty of snow to go around and with this week’s theme being “Bundled Up” I certainly had a photo to share.

This photo is of my son Austin and his brief encounter with the snow this year. He’s only two and with 18″ of snow, there’s not much room for him to move…lol! It was super cute though to see him try!

Make sure to take some time and check out all the other amazing entries at I Heart Faces. Good luck to everyone!
