In the Final Frames

It was at the very end of our session that a mother shared a very special moment with her daughter. The lighting was just about down, but at the final frames was a moment that was captured and will never be forgotten. As a mother myself these final images melted my heart to see a bond between a mother and child be so true….

Bristol Bridal Expo

This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to meet and get to know many couples who were in the process of planning their special day. I know some photographers go back and forth about wedding expos, but I find it a great benefit {for me} to get out and meet the brides and vendors I work so closely with. Not only did I get to meet some fabulous new brides, but I also got the chance to catch up with some of my 2011/2012 brides to be. To see them actively planning their wedding, got me so excited for them and their fiance!! All in all, it was a great weekend spent with great friends, future clients, and wonderful vendors. Look forward to seeing you all again for the New Year Expo in January!

Oh and yes, there is one more thing I MUST do and that is thank my darling husband who work so hard to put the construction of my booth together. If it weren’t for him, I would not have been able to do it! Love you babe!

Catching up and a bit of Inspiration

This year’s wedding season has been an absolute blessing! I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity so far this year to work with some of the most amazing couples and bridal parties. While we are only half way through, I still have so much to share with you. This week I have taken some much needed time to catch up and prepare for the upcoming weeks ahead. Make sure to stay tuned for some fabulous sneak peaks and wedding inspirations coming to the blog soon!

On an inspirational note, I thought I would take the time share what is asked of me quite often…How do you find so much inspiration in a wedding day? Inspiration for me comes by telling a true story. There’s nothing more beautiful then capturing the connection between two people as they celebrate the most important day of their lives together. It’s also so much fun to hear their vision throughout the year and see it come to life the day of. There is not one detail that is not important because a wedding day is the reflection of a couples personality and relationship together. When working with a couple, I first ask them what’s important to them about their special day? That one question almost always shares their story which allows me to later capture it on their wedding day. Inspiration comes in many forms and my love is capturing every minute of what’s important!
